1. Role of the Payment Processor (Merchant of Record)

Payment processing, tax collection, and customer invoicing for BSP ii Protect are managed exclusively by our partner Lemon Squeezy, acting as the Merchant of Record (MoR).

When completing an order, the sales and financial contract is established directly between you and Lemon Squeezy under their applicable terms. These terms govern your user access rights, software licenses, and use of the BSP ii Protect web service.

2. Right of Withdrawal & No-Refund Policy

In accordance with consumer regulations on digital goods (including EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code), the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content or digital services provided without a physical medium once performance has begun with the consumer's express prior consent and acknowledgment of the loss of their right of withdrawal.

An explicit checkbox confirming this waiver is presented during checkout on Lemon Squeezy before order confirmation. Consequently, all sales are final, and no refunds can be issued once access to the platform or licenses is granted.

3. Licensing Model & Map Slots

Access to BSP ii Protect operates through named licenses linked directly to your authenticated personal account:

A. License Tiers

Standard License (49.99 € — One-time payment): Lifetime access to the platform, 1 active map slot, and a 180-day rotation cooldown.
Studio License (129.99 € — One-time payment): Lifetime access to the platform, 3 active map slots, a 90-day rotation cooldown, and custom Studio Tag injection inside BSP metadata.
Extra Slot (29.99 € / year): Annual recurring add-on to expand concurrent slot capacity. Can be canceled at any time via your account portal. The rotation cooldown for Extra Slots automatically aligns with your primary license tier (180 days for Standard, 90 days for Studio).
Upgrades: You may upgrade from a Standard license to a Studio license at any time by paying only the price difference (80.00 €).

B. Unlimited Updates vs Project Rotation

Free Unlimited Updates: For the same map project (bug fixes, texture adjustments, lighting recalculations, geometry tweaks), you can re-protect and export your map as many times as needed at no extra cost.
Project Rotation: Each slot is allocated to an active map. If you wish to reassign a slot to a completely different map or project, the rotation cooldown period applies (180 days on Standard, 90 days on Studio) starting from the date of the initial protection recorded on that slot.

C. Personal Use & Account Security

Your license is strictly personal, non-transferable, and tied to your account credentials.
The platform does not enforce a rigid hardware lock (HWID), but relies on secure account authentication. Concurrent access from multiple devices is restricted: any new login session automatically revokes previous active sessions.
Sharing, reselling, sublicensing, or distributing your account or login credentials will lead to immediate and permanent termination of your access without refund.

4. Limitation of Liability & Backups

Mandatory Backups: BSP ii Protect irreversibly modifies .bsp binary structures. You must always maintain an offline backup of your original source files (.vmf) prior to running any protection. The publisher is not liable for data loss resulting from the absence of original source backups.
No Absolute Security Warranty: While BSP ii Protect employs cutting-edge obfuscation techniques to neutralize common decompilation tools (Hammer Editor, BSPSource), absolute cryptographic security cannot be guaranteed against targeted manual binary reverse engineering. The publisher disclaims liability for any unauthorized tampering by third parties.
